    I believe that's a trait of Buddhism, but unfortunately I can't elaborate.

edit: Yeah, the Baha'i Faith is the more relevant answer. But Buddhism also teaches this.

Well, as a Buddhist I believe that all religions can be correct. In the words of the Dalai Lama, "the best religion is the one that gets you closest to God. It is the one that makes you a better person.”
If that religion is Christianity, then you should become a Christian. If that religion is Islam, then I wish you to find Islam. If it happens no religion is best for you, then why should I say "find a religion?"

Unitarian Universalism would be a candidate, although I guess they would be opposed to religions that are against looking after your neighbour and you don't necessarily have to believe in heaven to be a member...not that means much...one sixth of the Dutch Protestant church are allegedly consider themselves atheists or agnostics.

This question begs another: Is your sole reason for choosing a religion not a belief in the universal power of the Almighty but to get a ticket to Heaven and get it punched? I'm absolutely horrified at the thought that anyone would choose to affiliate with a religious community for such selfish reasons!

Ba'Hai and Hinduism both teach this.

    that religion is PC BS
christianity and islam are both FALSE religions
    as they divide mankind
and condemn the rest of us to eternal hellfire.
    hell is full of them.

  14. Salam Alaykum

that would be the most insincere and dishonest religion

religions may have similarities but there are still many differences

for example Islam teaches there is strictly only one God, not buts. However many Christians have a trinity, which joins partners with God.

Then how can you say these both are correct?

Some Jews believe there is no such thing as Hell, whereas in Islam, there exists a hell and a heaven, so how can both be correct?

  15. omarta1

according to logic "2 contradictory statements cannot both be true"

perhaps its the bahai faith ure thinking about...

I think there is a difference between all religions being correct and none being wrong. The reality is that all religions are designed by humans and in that sense, none of them are correct as a whole. Religions are designed as a tool for emotional well being so in that sense, none of them are wrong. What you are left with is deciding which religion best suits your emotional/spiritual needs and makes sense to you.

I do but I won't give it publicity though here's a hint : Muslims routinely murder these people because they claim the same thing Muslims claim in relation to Christianity : A new revelation.

    ISn't that something.

But here is where reason should stop you cold :

Truth in Religion: The Plurality of Religions and the Unity of Truth
    Mortimer J. Adler

"Arguing that religious beliefs, even if beyond proof, ought to obey the logic of truth, he suggests that the major religions of the Far East foster cultural schizophrenia by compartmentalizing scientific facts and religious views. After determining that Eastern cosmological religions cannot be considered "logical and factual," Adler weighs the three monotheisms--Christianity, Judaism, Islam--and indecisively posits, "We can only say that one of these religions is truer than the other two." "

" The key difference is this: when I say "Squash is gross" and you say "Squash is good" we aren't really disagreeing. All I mean is "I don't like squash" and all you mean is "I do like squash." Those statements don't conflict. But when I say "The top quark exists" and you say "There is no top quark" we've made conflicting truth-claims. When it comes to squash, we can both be right--not so with quarks. To say that there is a God is to make a truth-claim. It is to assert the existence of an individual, just like in the quark case. Either there's a top quark or there isn't-either there's a God or there isn't. "

There are really only two religions in the world: the religion of "do" and the religion of "done." The true faith is the religion of "done." It is the biblical Gospel expressed by Christ on the Cross: "It is finished!" All the rest of the religions of men are religions of "do."

To be saved, simply acknowledge that you are a sinner who has rebelled against God. Believe that Jesus died on the cross as FULL payment for your sins and rose again. Trust in Him for the FREE GIFT of eternal life. All of your past, present, and future sins are forgiven the moment you trust in Christ as Savior.

Salvation is not by works but simply by faith in Christ. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone may boast" (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath (possesses now) everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Only false religions think that all religions are equal.

Only made up religions are equal.
Judaism and Christianity are different in that god came to reveal Himself to people.
Most religions are man looking for God.
Officially, Buddhists do not believe in God as Buddhists. It is a humanist philosophy about bettering oneself by one's own efforts. Buddha taught how to do it 600 years before Christ.
